Antrim GAA History

Antrim GAA has a very long and proud history. As one of the county teams of Ireland, they have their roots firmly placed in GAA history with many famous players and All Stars coming through. Antrim has won and lost some all-ireland matches and some very important ones too. Antrim won the All Ireland championship back in the 1900s, Antrim continue to do very well in their provence winning many matches against their rivals.

History of Antrim GAA Team

Antrim GAA have recently done very well in the latest 2010/2011 season, the team were struggling in the first few matches and lost some key players to injury with the reurning players Antrim regained their form and started playing much better, thrashing teams, but also losing some matches to, lets say, weaker teams, that Antrim should have performed against. The future looks bright for Antrim if they continue to play their current form, and Antrim should make it through the province and hopefully win the All-Ireland.
